Our Programs

Special Touch is continually expanding to meet the needs represented by the community of people with disabilities. Current operating programs and services include:

Local Fellowship Chapters
Small groups that operate under a corporate charter. The Chapters serve as a “local housing” through which any number of programs and services can flow.

Summer Get Away
A premiere faith-based vacation/retreat experience for those with physical and/or intellectual disabilities and their families. The Summer Get Away program features separate recreation and chapel services that are functionally appropriate for both people with physical disabilities and for people with intellectual disabilities.

Retreats and Special Events
Throughout the year these events provide spiritual inspiration, fellowship and entertainment.

Conferences on Disability Ministry
These conferences feature leadership workshops in disability ministry for professionals “issue-oriented” workshops for individuals with disabilities from a special perspective.

Awareness and Training Seminars
Designed specifically for Churches and Organizations that have a disability ministry interest.

Resources and Consulting
A service designed to assist churches and Pastors in disability issues.
