The service that our chapter ministry provides to people with disabilities and their families in the local community is vital. According to the Census Bureau, there are over 58 million people with disabilities in America alone. Many of these people are looking to participate in a caring organization where their needs can be met, or where they too can serve the concerns of others. Why not make it possible by starting a chapter in your area today!

Basic requirements to be a chapter leader include:
- Must be a true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Must regularly attend church.
- Must subscribe to the Special Touch Ministry, Inc. Statement of Beliefs.
- Must operate according to the policies set forth in the Special
Touch Ministry chapter manual.
- Must depend on the Lord in all things.
- Must have an attitude of humility.
- Must have a servant's heart.
- Must exhibit leadership skills.

Basic requirements of a chapter leader:
- Presiding over chapter meetings.
- Recording and filing all chapter reports with the Special Touch national office.
- Fund raising to support all chapter activities and to benefit the overall ministry.
- Planning and publicizing chapter meetings and speakers.
- Presenting the vision of the chapter to local churches and
organizations.
