Rev. Dale Hazard
Dale, and his wife, Sally, have been involved with Special Touch Ministry since its inception and Dale has served on the board for most of this time. During college, Dale and Sally were house parents for three men with intellectual disabilities, and to this day, they continue to have a soft spot in their heart for people with disabilities. Over the years in ministry, Dale has served as lead Pastor various churches. He has also served in a caregiving and support staff position with Special Touch Wisconsin Summer Get Away.
Dennis Hodgson worked in many different departments and positions before retiring from John Deere Horicon Works. He is a former board member of Mayville Assembly of God church. In the early years, Dennis Hodgson and his first wife, Joan, were instrumental in bringing the ministry of Special Touch Summer Get Away to people all over the world (prior to her Alzheimer’s diagnosis and passing). Dennis has served as a Summer Get Away Tech Team volunteer, program manager, and caregiver. He continues to serve local Chapter ministry, along with his second wife, Nancy, (current President of the Special Touch Beaver Dam Chapter).
Cliff Cameron received his call to full-time ministry while in high school. Growing up, he often helped his grandmother as she ran a home for disabled veterans. Cliff met his wife Cindy in Kenosha where they both grew up. They were married while he was still attending NorthCentral Bible College. They have one son, three daughters, three sons-in-law and four grandchildren.
Cliff and Cindy began their full-time vocational ministry at Brookfield Assembly of God in Brookfield, WI in 1996. As a licensed and ordained minister, Cliff served with this church in a number of positions over the years from Children’s Pastor to Senior Associate and Executive Pastor. Cliff and his wife currently live in Waupaca, Wisconsin where he is now serving as the Lead Pastor at Waupaca First Assembly of God. Their desire is to be genuine in their relationship with God and each other and to help others come to a personal relationship with Jesus.
During their time at Brookfield they connected with Special Touch Ministry as they recognized the need and sought to include those with disabilities into the church life. Cliff is excited to see what God has in store for our ministry together.
