The DFC program empowers churches in Disability Ministry. By partnering with STM, churches receive access to tools, information, and training designed to enhance their local outreach. While STM provides guidance, all services are administered and insured by the local church. Free tools available!
Gatherings are welcoming, church-hosted and operated faith and friendship groups, providing a caring environment for fellowship and spiritual mentorship, and ensuring that individuals impacted by disability belong, grow, have their gifts supported, and are fully integrated into the church body of believers.
Family of Hope is a program designed to provide faith-based family support services. Our goal is to offer hope and encouragement to families while equipping local churches to provide services that meet the specific needs of family members impacted by disability.
A Summer Get Away is a residential, camp-style retreat for children and adults with disabilities to experience fun and fellowship in a Christian atmosphere. We provide functionally-appropriate programming, professional medical staff, and background-checked volunteers.
Note: Special Touch tuition fees are lower than the national average for similar programs. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Our Blind Services department provides resources specifically addressing the needs of those with visual impairments. We offer Braille, large print, and audio tools ranging from evangelism to discipleship. Our focus is to make the cross accessible to everyone.
The STM Online Community is a safe place to share concerns, triumphs, and prayer. We hold regular meetings featuring Bible studies and discussions on disability interests. While designed for those with physical disabilities, all are welcome.
